Baptism is our response to God’s love and forgiveness

It marks the start of a journey of faith which continues for the rest of our lives.

​

This is a joyful celebration of what God has done for us in Christ. It includes making serious promises and declaring our faith.  

The water of baptism symbolises how we die to sin and are raised to new life with Christ. This service includes signing with the cross. It ends with the receiving of a candle as a sign of the light of Christ in the world.
