HOW CAN I SERVE?
Under construction:
Serving God at Saint Bartholomew's Church in Dinard
Unlike in the U.K. or the U.S., in France churches are often kept separate from the organizations that raise money for them. The church itself is responsible for the church building and grounds, for the chaplain's accommodations and for everything connected directly to the exercise of religious faith. Parishioners take joy in serving alongside the priest and council to keep everything running well.
Serving Saint Bart's cultural association (The Friends)
Many churches in France have established a cultural association (what is called a '1901') to raise funds for their various projects. It is these associations that organize concerts, lectures, bake sales and other such events, often on the grounds belonging to the church, but sometimes elsewhere. The cultural association connected to St Bart's is "The Friends of the Anglican church of Dinard". Would you like to work with them?
